VSC-HVDC Coordination and Stability Control Applied in Electromagnetic Loop Network

摘要:  首先分析了电磁环网存在的安全稳定问题及柔性直流输电系统(简称“柔直”)的特性,之后分析了柔直接入电磁环网后柔直与稳定控制措施(简称“稳控”)协调控制的必要性,并给出了柔直与稳控协调控制的方法及措施量的计算原则和针对暂态稳定的协调控制措施量的计算方法。基于等面积法则计算协调控制措施量的过程中,考虑了柔直、稳控的控制动作延时及系统电抗的影响因素,使计算结果更加精确,可最大程度利用柔直容量对暂态过程中的系统进行有功及无功功率支撑。利用BPA仿真工具建立柔直接入电磁环网的机电仿真模型。仿真结果表明:应用于电磁环网的柔直与稳控协调控制,减少了传统稳控措施的切机总量,并改善了交流系统电压稳定性,具有良好的工程实用价值。

Abstract:  This paper first analyzes the stability problems of electromagnetic loop network and the characteristics of VSC-HVDC system. Then, this paper puts forward the necessity of coordinated control of VSC-HVDC and stability control system when VSC-HVDC applied in electromagnetic loop network, and presents the coordinated control method of VSC-HVDC and stability control system, the calculation principle of measure quantity, as well as the alculation method of the coordinated control measures for transient stability. The numerical calculation of coordinated control measures based on equal area criterion considers the influences of action time delay and the reactance of the system, which can make the calculation results more accurate and the maximum use of the capacity of VSC power support for the power system in transient process. Finally, this paper adopts BPA simulation tool to establish the mechanical and electrical simulation model of VSC-HVDC applied in electromagnetic loop network. The simulation results show that the coordination control of VSC-HVDC and stability control systemwill reduce total number of the generator cutting compared to traditional stability control, and improve the voltage stability of AC system, which has a good engineering and practical value.
