Abstract: Study on the development course of cost management mode of power grid project in China, and the perfection of the cost management mode, are the technical supports to realize the cost controllable, also the exploration to the cost management theory and methods of power grid project. Firstly, taking time as the thread, the development course of cost management mode was analyzed combined with the investment system reform in China. Then, the situation and problems of cost management mode of power grid project in China were analyzed from three aspects: valuation system, management process and organizational structure. On this basis, through the induction and summarization on the foreign advanced experience of cost management, the suggestion for the further perfection of cost management mode in China was proposed.
