高压直流输电换流阀晶闸管级在线监测技术

Online Monitoring Technology of Thyristor Level of HVDC Converter Valve

摘要: 中国在运和在建的高压直流输电工程多达29个。直流输电工程在电网中具有重要地位,换流阀是其核心装置,其性能很大程度影响了直流输电工程的可靠性。首先给出了现有的各种高压直流输电换流阀监测技术原理,并总结了现有换流阀监测技术的局限性,之后提出了晶闸管级阻尼回路和直流均压回路参数的实时在线监测方法,完善了晶闸管触发监测单元(thyristor trigger and monitor unit,TTM)自检功能,最后通过仿真和试验验证了所提出的监测方法的有效性。使用该方法可使换流阀的年度定期检修变为状态检修,实现换流阀在运行中免维护,提高了设备可用率和可靠性。

Abstract: Currently there are up to 29 HVDC transmission projects in operation or under construction in China, which are playing an important role in power grid. The converter valve is the core unit of HVDC transmission, whose performance largely influences the reliability of HVDC transmission project. This paper firstly analyzes the principles and shortages of existing monitoring technologies of HVDC converter valve. Then, this paper proposes a real-time online monitoring method for the parameters of thyristor-level damping circuit and DC grading circuit, and improves the self-check of thyristor trigger and monitoring unit (TTM). Finally, this paper verifies the effectiveness of the proposed monitoring method through simulation and experiment. As a result the annual preventive maintenance of converter valve is replaced by condition based maintenance, which can realize the maintenance free of converter valve in operation and improve the equipment's availability and reliability.
