Abstract:

In order to study the seismic performance of UHV transmission tower, taking the SZ272P steel tube tower in double-circuit 1 000 kV Huainan-Shanghai transmission line and the ZBS1 cup-type angle line tower in Jindongnan-Jingmeng transmission as project background, this paper designed and made the scale model of shaking table test, based on the similarity theory. Three cases of the models, single tower, tower with concentrated mass to simulate the conductors and tower-conductor coupled system, were tested on the shaking table, whose results verified the seismic performance of the 1 000 kV steel tube tower and the angle tower in the rare earthquake of 8 degree. Finally, some suggestions for seismic design were proposed.
