In June 2026, Elsevier released the updated 2025 CiteScore based on the Scopus database. Electric Power Construction achieved a 2025 CiteScore of 6.2, ranking in the top 25% (250 out of 1030 journals) in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering category.

2. Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC)

In December 2025, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC) issued the 2025 Edition of Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports (Core Edition). Electric Power Construction recorded an impact factor of 4.792, with both its impact factor and comprehensive score ranking 5th among 40 journals in the Electrical Engineering discipline.

3. Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD)

In April 2025, the Literature and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences published the CSCD Journal Citation Reports (CSCD-JCR). Electric Power Construction attained an impact factor of 2.6944, ranking 7th among 24 journals in the Electrical Technology category.

4. World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) of Scientific and Technological Periodicals

In February 2026, the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) released the World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) Report of Scientific and Technological Periodicals. Electric Power Construction obtained an impact factor of 4.175, ranking 40th among 201 journals in the Electrical Engineering discipline in the WJCI ranking.
