Energy Supply Optimization and Intelligent Charging Strategy of Electric Vehicles

Abstract:

 

In order to evaluate the economy of different renewable energy for electric vehicle charging, this paper constructed the optimization model of intelligent charging, and obtained the best power combination for the power supply of electric vehicle, including wind power, photovoltaic power generation and traditional fossil fuel power compensated by renewable portfolio standard. Based on the analysis of renewable energy utilization status and electric vehicle charging characteristics, an intelligent charging model was established using heuristic dynamic programming method, which aimed at studying the collaborative optimization mechanism of wind, solar and conventional energy generation in the electric vehicle charging system. Additionally, sensitivity analysis was carried out on the energy economy in energy resource combination for electric vehicle charging. The results show that smart charging strategies for electric vehicle can improve the utilization of renewable energy, and reduce the impact of load instability on the power system; as well the wind power in the charging system has the cost optimization efficiency which can effectively reduce the charging cost.
