Simulation and Experimental Reasearch on Live Working Technology for 10 kV Cable Terminal

Abstract:

 

With the expansion of urban power distribution scale and the rapid development of urban-rural integration process, the cable lines of 10 kV distribution network increase quickly, and the non-interruption check and maintenance on cable lines needs to be promoted urgently. According to the danger points of live working on cable terminals, the electromagnetic transient simulation was carried out for cable terminal working. Then, the overvoltage, over current and arc energy caused in non-load cable switching process under different conditions were comparatively analyzed. Finally, this paper proposes control methods and protective measures for the danger points of cable terminal working.
