Distribution Network Planning System Adapted to Electric Vehicle Development

Abstract:

Electric vehicles (EV) is revolutionary technology with clean energy instead of traditional energy, which attract attention in worldwide. Under the background of the rapid development of electric vehicles (EV), this paper analyzes consumption behavior and developing route of EV. Firstly, effect of EV connecting into distribution network was analyzed. Secondly, challenges to distribution network planning were presented. Finally, adaptive planning system of distribution network was proposed, which adapted to EV development. This achievement could give a guide to research direction and key point for planning and design of distribution network with large-scale EV load connection.
