Software Development Method of Battery SOC Estimation Based on Targetlink

Abstract:

 Taking the estimate strategy of the SOC (state of charge) in battery management system as research object, this paper used extended Kalman filter algorithm to established the simulation model in Matlab SimuLink/Stateflow, and verified the correctness of the model. The TargetLink automatic code generation tool of the dSPACE company was used to complete the model transformation, in-the-loop simulation and code generation. The generated code was downloaded to the debugging circuit board which used Freescale EVB9S12XEP100 as the CPU. The deviation of test results and theoretical results is in an acceptable range, the size of generated code, the stack usage can satisfy the demands of chip processing capacity and the software can operate stably.
