Abstract: In order to study the electromagnetic influence of 750 kV double-circuit (consisting of two parallel single circuit) AC transmission lines in China on nearby petroleum & gas pipelines, the electromagnetic environment of the petroleum & gas pipeline nearby a 750 kV AC transmission line was simulated by using a software of CDEGS. Based on the domestic and international standards, the limits of the electromagnetic influences of AC transmission lines on nearby petroleum & gas pipelines were proposed, and the interference voltage of the pipelines were calculated and analyzed under different operating conditions of AC transmission lines. Through the comparison of the simulation results and the limits, analysis and assessment were performed on the degree of electromagnetic influences of 750 kV double-circuit AC transmission lines on petroleum & gas pipelines, and some protective measures were suggested.
