Optimal Allocation of Power Supply in AC/DC Hybrid Stand-Alone Microgrid

Abstract: The optimal allocation of power supply in AC/DC hybrid microgrid can reduce the converter loss and system cost. According to the unique structure and energy flow pattern of AC/DC hybrid stand-alone microgrid, this paper proposes the specific energy management strategy with considering the power transmission efficiency. The optimal allocation model aimes at the optimal economy, and comprehensive consides environmental protection and power supply reliability. This paper adopts modified artificial bee colony algorithm to solve the model, which can obtain the optimal allocation result of distribution generation in AC/DC hybrid stand-alone microgrid. Finally, through the comparison and analysis of examples, it shows that AC/DC hybrid microgrid can save the operation costs of the system compared with AC microgrid or DC microgrid, and the application of improved energy management strategy can obtain the allocation scheme of power supply in microgrid with better economy.
