 A Review on AC/DC Hybrid Microgrid Key Technology Containing Distributed New Energy

Abstract:  With the problems of energy shortage and environmental crisis, the integration of distributed energy is the essential way to develop power grid. Microgrid is an effective mode to promote the consumption and management of distributed energy, and AC/DC hybrid microgrid becomes a hot topic due to the advantages of both AC microgrid and DC microgrid. According to the existing research achievements about AC/DC hybrid microgrid domestic and overseas, this paper summarizes the topological structure and capacity allocation, performance evaluation, power management and protection technology of AC/DC hybrid microgrid. Then, this paper discusses the development prospect and practical application of AC/DC hybrid microgrid, and proposes some suggestions for the further development of AC/DC hybrid microgrid in China, which has practical significance.
