 Operation and Controlling Method of Combined Natural Gas and Electric System Based on IEC 61850

Abstract:  ABSTRACT:  To alleviate the environmental pollution, it becomes a tendency that natural gas is taking the place of coal, which makes the combined natural gas and electric micro grid become a research hotspot. For ensuring the security and reliability of the combined natural gas and electric system, based on the IEC 61850 information model and JADE platform, this paper proposes a multi agent controlling method for the combined natural gas and electric micro grid. After analyzing the operating characteristics of electrolytic methane production equipment, we establish the IEC 61850 controlling model for power to gas (P2G) equipment for the first time. The simulation results show that, the consistency and interoperability of information interaction between agents can be ensured by IEC 61850, and the combined natural gas and electric micro grid can be controlled effectively, whose security is also enhanced.
