 Day-Ahead Electric Power Market Dynamic Game Model Based on Sale-Side Opening Up

Abstract:  ABSTRACT: Considering the characteristics of day-ahead electric power market in the future of China under the electricity sale-side opening up such as imperfect information etc., this paper establishes a dynamic (game) simulation model of bidding strategies on day-ahead electric power market. Firstly, based on the principle of profit maximization, we constructed the bidding strategy decision-making models for GenCOs and RESs; Secondly, we established the ISO market clearing up model based on the market clearing price (MCP) mode; Thirdly, we established the self-adaptive learning models of GenCOs and RESs under imperfect information; Fourthly, combining the three models mentioned above, we constructed the dynamic game model of day-ahead electric power market, and adopted improved harmony search algorithm (HSA) to simulate the dynamic adjustment processes and Nash equilibrium situation of GenCOs (RESs) strategy. Finally, we verified the rationality of the model by simulation; meanwhile, under two market circumstances of supply and demand matching and mismatching, we compared the simulation results, and proposed several suggestions for the future construction of day-ahead electric power market in China.
