 Challenges of 5G network in Energy Internet

Abstract:  Energy internet needs to be coupled with energy flow and information flow for establishing a new energy system. This paper analyzes the current energy internet architecture and the demand for information and communication technology. With the current research status and development trend of 5G network, this paper expounds four main challenges of 5G network in the context of energy internet, including large-scale sensor access and networking technology, distributed energy management, application architecture for energy internet and quality of experience (QoE) and information security. Energy internet is a great reform of energy, and information and communication technology is one of the key technologies to realize it. This paper summarizes the challenges of 5G network under the background of energy internet, and gives reference for  future applications of information and communication technology in energy internet.
