Judgment Rules of Big Data Application in Power Industry

Abstract

Abstract: The power grid is producing a large amount of data with various types. It is of great significance to effectively deal with and develop the maximum value of the data, which is one of the main purposes of electric power information construction. In the power industry, big data applications has aroused the attention of domestic and overseas experts and scholars. However, the application of power big data is still in its infancy. It is necessary to identify what is the application of power big data. This paper reviews the applications of the power big data at home and abroad, on this basis, illustrates the concept of the power big data. And then combined with specific application scenarios, this paper introduces the judgment rule of power big data from the aspects of technology and value, which can provide a useful guidance for the application of power big data in electric power industry. Data is asset, so power big data will certainly provide an important technical support for the development of the power industry and economic society.
