Torsion Deformation of Valve Hall Structure in ±800 kV Convertor Station

Abstract

The finite element models of valve hall structure in ±800 kV convertor station is constructed in the paper. The model analyses of shot-pier shear wall structure and shear wall structure of valve hall are performed. The corresponding frequency and mode of vibration are analyzed, and the torsion deformation is discussed under earthquake wave. In addition, the dynamical and time history analyses of two valve halls are carried out, and the global assessment for torsion deformation discussed.
