Taking the Hebei power dispatch data network (SGDnet) as an example, the paper discusses the technical problems encountered in planning and construction of dispatch data network such as network topology, internet protocol(IP) address planning, open shortest path first interior gateway protocol (OSPF) and virtual private network (VPN), and proposes solutions and basic principles.
