Abstract:
In order to ensure the safety of indirect dry cooling tower and to reduce the project cost as far as possible, it is necessary to carry out structure optimization study for the indirect dry cooling tower. The paper analyzes the influence of variation in tower laryngeal height and tower shell thickness on the integral and local stabilities of the tower, and on the tower’s amount of works. The principle and method for structure optimization of the indirect dry cooling tower are introduced and the structure optimization design is conducted based on practical project.
