Abstract

Combined with the polarization and application of new technologies in capital construction, the energy-saving principle and performance of the high conductivity aluminum conductor steel reinforced(ACSR), aluminum conductor alloy reinforced(ACAR) and moderate-strength all aluminum alloy conductor(AAAC) are introduced. Subsequently, the technical differences in electrical and mechanical properties between the three conductors are comparative analyzed, and the sensitive factors of construction cost are also discussed. By the means of both annual cost and payback methods, the economy evaluations of the three conductors are made. In order to popularize the energy-saving conductors, some application suggestions are proposed in the end.

Key words
