Abstract

Based on th creep test between five kinds of conductor with large section ratio of aluminum-steel, the creep curves of five aluminum-cable steel-reinforced (ACSR) wires were drawn, whose aluminum-steel ratios were 11.34-14.47. According to the value of creep deformation, this paper calculated the value of conductor’s temperature drop, and suggested that the value of temperature drop should be 25 ℃ when the aluminum-steel ratios were 11.34-14.47, which could provide references for the construction and design of the transmission line.
