Application of UHV Series Compensation Technology in 1 000 kV Nanyang Switch Station

The UHV series compensation technology has been firstly applied in the expansion project of 1 000 kV Nanyang switch station. Combined with the actual working conditions of project construction and debugging, the function application of series compensation technology, the action principle of core equipment and the characteristics of series compensation construction are analyzed in this paper, which could be a useful reference to the construction and debugging of similar series compensation projects.
