Optimization of Heat Engine Equipment Selection for Large Thermal Power Plant Based on Energy Conservation and Environment Protection

Abstract

With the background of energy conservation and environmental protection, some application achievements of type selection and design optimization for heat engine equipments in large thermal power plant were analyzed, including steam turbine, boiler and main auxiliary equipments. The characteristics and shortcomings of equipment selection optimization of thermal power engine were pointed out, as well as some measures and suggestions were proposed, which have provided reference for the heat engine equipment selection in 600 MW and above large thermal power units.
